Cultivating the work of God
They Abbey consist of two main components that provide a new resource for growing and giving.
The growing resources are found in the The Abbey App. The app consists of three main parts: prayer, meditation and reflection. Our desire is to help convert your phone from a source of distraction from God, into a resource that leads us to Him.
The giving component of The Abbey is pioneering a new way to fund ministries. The funds from The Abbey will be used to establish ministries that help to serve some of the most neglected members of our communities both domestically and internationally.
Proceeds from The Abbey monthly subscription go to fund ministries serving the collegiate community, the special needs community, the international and domestic refugee community and those affected by grief, trauma and PTSD.

We spend so much time on our phones and mobile devices, they can become tools of distraction and isolation. The Abbey was developed to help create a sacred space in an area where we spend so much of our time and to see it become a place of encouragement and exhortation towards God.
It has been said that art is evidence that we have a soul, that there is something more than the surface. Our culture focuses on productivity and progress and we have lost the art of being still and knowing that He is God.
The Meditation section of the app will be focused on helping to reawaken the long lost art. Whether it be learning how to stop and ponder a piece of art or a performance, enjoying a daily walk or stopping to listen to the melodic symphony of a bird in song this section will help begin the process of cultivating the divine amidst the everyday, redeeming the mundane and being present in the moment. The Meditation section of The Abbey helps to curate the image of the Divine amongst our everyday lives.
Professionally crafted daily questions
Tools to help explore your story
"Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever." - Psalm 23:6
In our fast paced world we so often put our head down and push through, yet in doing so we miss much of what the Lord has done. In Psalm 23, the goodness and loving kindness of the Lord follows us. Although we so often want the significance of things revealed at the start, it is only when we stop and cease from our efforts that we see the work of the Lord.
We long to be known. Yet we so often struggle to tell our own story to others. The Reflection section of The Abbey will be a daily resource, crafted to help you share your story. Our hope is that in exploring our story we will see the story of God at work in our lives.
